Not a minty type of guy except during the Nov-Jan time of year, but this is something special. Sweater weather comes together to combine those minty, woodsy and holiday scents to make a seasonal and Xmas favorite to me. Brings me into the spirit of happiness and joy and will be worn all winter long to remind me of all the good times had all season.
I picked up the oil and butter combo on this and it feels so good in beard.
The oil keeps the skin and beard moisturized, as well as the soft and manageable. The oil absorbs quickly into tbe skin. The butter goes into the beard hairs so well also. The scent on this is deep, fresh woody blend. There is a bit of earthiness to it also but it comes together so well. Year round type of wear. Almost a woodsy cologne vibe to me. Cannot go wrong with anything from Bain Blends. Just take your pick of the scent you prefer.
Let me start by saying this: I make beard products for a living. This is what I do. I live, breathe, and obsess over this industry. And because of that, I’m technically a competitor of Bain Blends.
But beard oil is the one product I never stepped into because there are people out there already doing it at such a high level that unless I could beat them or get damn close, I wasn’t even going to try. Tobacco Grove is exactly why.
This scent is freakin fantastic. Light, refreshing, smooth, and then out of nowhere you get this punch. That hit of tobacco and fruit that just lands perfectly. It’s clean but rich. Subtle but bold. Summertime warmth with a fall breeze running through it.
And here’s the funny part, it took me a few weeks from when the bottle showed up in the mail to when I finally got to use it…because my wife STOLE IT and hid it from me. Her exact words when I found it, “This is my beard oil!” No it ain't woman!
The blend of apple, peach, tobacco, and that oud…man, it just works. It’s sophisticated without trying too hard. It’s got that woody earthiness, that subtle musk, that hint of spice like someone bottled the actual moment the seasons change.
And the herbal infusion...top notch! You can feel the quality. You can feel the craftsmanship. Bain Blends didn’t cut corners anywhere. This is beard oil done the right way.

I got the sample pack and picked flavors purely based on vibes. I was very happy with the quality. My main focuses are how much I like the scent and how long it lasts throughout the day. Many of the flavors achieved both of those goals wonderfully.
I will definitely be buying Bain for life!
