Why I started Bain Blends
To answer the question, I have to start from the beginning.
I have been dealing with Rosacea since I was a teenager. Likewise, my wife and daughter have eczema. Between the products I was buying for my skin and beard, and what they were using to control their eczema, I had to come up with something that the three of us could use.
Research led me to herbal treatments. Many of the herbs we know today have medicinal uses*. Some herbs reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, help strengthen hair follicles, and assist in hair growth. Once research led me to a readily available herb, I would find others that would work just as well. Ultimately, I found 16 herbs that I felt could be useful in my products. Most of these herbs are available on Amazon and are even available in most supermarkets to be dried and then slowly extracted over time into a carrier oil like Avocado oil.
After that I started researching what oils to use. Argan, Jojoba, Coconut, and a few others are typically found in most of the beard oils on the market, but, I wanted what I was making to stand out. I decided to add Pumpkin, Black Seed, Hemp and others to hit as many aspects of our skin, hair, and hair follicles.
Every product that I make that will be for sale on the website, will have the finished blend. Whether its a more feminine scent of the oils, a butter, or balm, every product will have the same high quality mix.
